Activities in Swarthmore, Wallingford & Media this weekend, September 21st-23rd!

Farmers Market in Swarthmore!  Fresh food and good company – 9:30am-1:30pm in the municipal lot! This week is Swarthmore Historical Society Archives Day – bring your old Swarthmore photos and memorabilia to the tables at the Farmers Market be added to the collection archiving our very special town!

“The Little Mermaid” at Hedgerow!  A romping musical adapted from the Hans Christian Andersen tale. Tickets are 11am $11 for grown-ups, $9 for kids!  Call 610.565.4211 or visit for more info!

LibraryPalooza! $25 tickets to eat, drink and be merry with your fellow bibliophiles!  Raffles and silent auctions  all to benefit the Swathmore Public Library, of course!


Swarthmore Historical Society House Tour! At last, the day is here when everyone can feel like a Realtor – trying to fit tours of 9 incredible homes into a four hour window!  Buy tickets in advance at Finlandia, Paulson’s and the Co-op for a price of $20 or wing it and buy them for $25 on tour day!  1-5pm Sunday.  Visit the Swarthmore Historical Society for more info, or call 610.544.8558!

Veggie Produce Drop-off from 12-2pm every Sunday in August at the Swarthmore Community Garden parking lot (corner of Harvard & Yale).  Don’t let your crop go to waste!  Bring your extra garden veggies for donation to Chester Eastside Ministries!

Pumpkinland at Linvilla is open!  Visit the giant scarecrows, choose pumpkins and decor, sip cold cider and get into the fall spirit!  Hayrides to pick your own fruit & veg, farm animals to feed, a gigantic playground…what more could you want?  No entry charge but you won’t be able to resist the gorgeous and reasonably priced produce!  Visit for more info!
