Activities in Swarthmore, Wallingford & Media this weekend, September 21st-23rd!

Saturday:

Farmers Market in Swarthmore!  Fresh food and good company – 9:30am-1:30pm in the municipal lot! This week is Swarthmore Historical Society Archives Day – bring your old Swarthmore photos and memorabilia to the tables at the Farmers Market be added to the collection archiving our very special town!

The Fall Fair at Swarthmore Presbyterian Church From  9:30am-2:30pm there will be games, antiques, food & drinks, a moon bounce, and a chance to take in the crisp fall air with your neighbors!  The whole family will enjoy something here!  Call 610.543.4712 or visit swarthmorepres.org/fallfair.aspx for more info!

Third Annual National Costume Swap FREE From 7-10pm Bring your gently used costumes to swap for new-to-you costumes!  Sponsors, Delaware County Moms and Swarthmore Community Center want you to bring crayons to donate to the charity Cradles to Crayons as well.  Swag bags available to the first 50 peoples, giveaways, free massages, all t the Swarthmore Community Center!

“Hairspray” at Media Theatre  Come out and enjoy the Tony award winning musical  all about being yourself (even if yourself is a bit of a misfit with a great big hairdo!) Call 610.891.0100 or visit www.mediatheatre.org for tickets!

Sunday:

Veggie Produce Drop-off from 12-2pm every Sunday in August at the Swarthmore Community Garden parking lot (corner of Harvard & Yale).  Don’t let your crop go to waste!  Bring your extra garden veggies for donation to Chester Eastside Ministries!

Pumpkinland at Linvilla is open!  Visit the giant scarecrows, choose pumpkins and decor, sip cold cider and get into the fall spirit!  Hayrides to pick your own fruit & veg, farm animals to feed, a gigantic playground…what more could you want?  No entry charge but you won’t be able to resist the gorgeous and reasonably priced produce!  Visit http://www.linvilla.com for more info!
